Recently I had the pleasure of working with Aimee Dunne, a Wedding Planner based in London and the surrounding counties, on one of the weddings she was planning for Lauren and Padraig. I was asked to create on the day stationery which would continue their pretty vintage theme. When initially designing the stationery Aimee sent over some mood boards with colours and ideas that were the inspiration for the theme of the wedding. From this I was able to pick out the shades of pink and grey and the peony flowers…
Above is a section on photos from some of the items that I created. The stationery was all printed on pearlscent card and had pearl details added which really added a special touch. The order of services were A5 booklets with 2 inserts placed between the cover. I really liked the fact that Lauren and Padraig had written a welcome message to all their guests before the order of service began. The theme was then followed through onto the A5 folded table names which had a message relating to the name on the outside and the menu for the wedding breakfast on the inside. I think this was a fantastic idea as it saves space on the table and by having 2 to each table it gave each guest a chance to read it. There was also name place settings which were to tuck into pink napkins, and my favorite the table plan. The table plan was split into individual tables and each table was printed on an A5 pealescent piece of card which was to be hung on branches of a tree outside the marque. Some of the other things that we created were bus timetables, evening menus and post box signs.
I thoroughly enjoyed creating the on the day stationery for Lauren and Padraig’s wedding and it was really great seeing it all printed together before it was delivered. I hope they had a fantastic day.
